Freshwater Predator Fish: Pike, Perch and Zander Guides
The three predators most spinning anglers in Ukraine and much of Europe target. Each guide includes the season and time-of-day pattern the GetCatch forecast uses for that species.
- PikeA practical pike fishing guide: when pike bite through the year and day, where they hold, which lures and tackle to use, and how to release them safely.
- PerchPerch fishing tips for spinning anglers: when perch feed, how to find a shoal, the best small lures and micro jig techniques, and how the season changes things.
- ZanderHow to fish for zander (pikeperch): why low light matters, the best times and conditions, where zander hold in rivers and reservoirs, and jig techniques that catch them.
Pike, perch and zander often share the same water, but they hunt at different times and in different places. Pike wait in cover, perch roam in shoals in daylight, and zander hunt deeper and in low light. Knowing which one is most likely to be active right now is the first step to planning a session. The bite forecast does this for each species.
